Eligibility

Per the National Society Sons of the American Revolution by-laws:  “Any male shall be eligible for membership in the SAR who is a citizen of good repute in the community; and a lineal descendant of an ancestor who was at all times unfailing in loyalty and rendered acceptable service in the cause of American Independence”

Getting Started

To get started, collect the information you know and begin by filling in what you can on the worksheet* found on the national site. Then contact our Registrar and/or bring what you have to the next Chapter meeting and we will help you find the missing pieces.
