Linda Reed represented the Marquis de Lafayette Chapter at the 240th Anniversary of the Battle of Kettle Creek at War Hill, Washington, GA on February 9.

PG Warren Alter presented the GASSAR Outstanding Cadet Certificate to Cadet Major Kassidy Sweet, Warner Robins HS, along with a check from the GASSAR for being selected as the 2018-2019 Outstanding cadet along with her excellent essay on “how the JROTC has made me a better citizen of the United States of America.”
David Jessel, NSSAR National Chair, ROTC/JROTC, awarded C/Major Sweet with the neck ribbon and medal for this award. Sweet plans to attend UGA in the ROTC and hopes to be commissioned in the US Navy. She was accompanied by her parents Mr & Mrs Sweet of Warner Robins.
